the spacious, comfortable rooms were complemented by the beautiful surrounding gardens. the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even providing floor lamps when requested. the breakfast provided was varied and tasty. the chef did a great job with the dinners, offering a delicious variety of dishes.
Despite the impressive property, a few aspects have potential for improvement in maintaining the garden and bathroom facilities.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was also great, with several attractions within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and included a variety of local and international dishes. Another advantage was the beautiful garden, which offered a peaceful retreat away from the bustling city.
The hotel was quite overpriced compared to similar accommodations in the area. We also found some of the staff to be less competent in dealing with basic issues.

The hotel had a good breakfast with a lot of variety. the location was perfect because we were able to walk to several attractions. the view from our room was amazing! We could see the beautiful hills from our balcony and it was very calming.
The room was not very clean and there were some signs of wear and tear. the staff was not very helpful and seemed to be undertrained.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, especially the Best aspects of the beautiful grounds and historic setting, tasty breakfast, excellent staff, and clean room with comfortable bed. The hotel's location on the hills above this city offered stunning views of the surroundings, and the hotel facilities were impressive, including parking and transportation services.
